Tradesman & Local Service Website Design Ireland

Websites for electricians, plumbers, builders, roofers, mechanics, valeters, repair shops and every local service that lives on the phone ringing. Built to show up in local searches and turn a visit into a call. From €120 one-time.

Nicell builds websites for tradesmen and local service businesses across Ireland, including Dingle Car Valeting in Kerry and Dungarvan Tech in Waterford. One-time prices of €120, €299 or €630, free hosting, no monthly fees, and a free working preview first.

Your website has one job: make the phone ring

Nobody browses a plumber’s website for fun. They have a leak, a dead socket, a dirty car or a cracked screen, and they’re on a phone choosing who to ring. A trades website should get them from “who does this near me?” to calling you in as few taps as possible.

One page per service if you want to rank

Searches for trades are specific: “emergency plumber Waterford”, “EV charger installer Cork”, “phone screen repair Dungarvan”. A single page can mention all of those, but a page dedicated to each one ranks better. Dungarvan Tech’s site works exactly this way: separate pages for phone screen repair, laptop repair, unlocking, data recovery and gaming PCs, each ending in a phone call or a visit. If you mainly get work by word of mouth and just need somewhere to send people, one page is plenty.

Show your registrations and insurance

Trust matters more when someone is letting you into their home. If you’re a Registered Electrical Contractor with Safe Electric, a registered gas installer with RGII, or a member of a trade body, put it on the site with your registration number — customers can check it, and it separates you from the cowboys. Insurance, years in business and the guarantees you give belong on the home page too. Only claim what’s true; the site will never invent credentials for you.

Quotes, callouts and bookings

Google Business Profile is your shopfront

Most trades customers find you on the Google map, not by clicking through to page two of search results. Every build includes linking your Google Business Profile to your site, matching your business name, phone and service area exactly, and adding local business structured data. If you work from home, the profile can show a service area instead of your address. Reviews drive the map results — the optional Nicell Care plan (€30/month, opt-in) includes a monthly Google-reviews push plus hosting and small edits.

Facebook, Instagram or a website?

Plenty of tradesmen run on a Facebook page and word of mouth, and that works until someone new searches Google. A social page doesn’t rank for “electrician” plus your town, and it looks less established when a customer is comparing three quotes. Keep posting your jobs there; put your own website on the van.

How it works

Common questions

How much does a website for a tradesman cost in Ireland?

Nicell charges €120 for a one-page Launch Page+, €299 for a multi-page Full Site and €630 for a Big Build, all one-time. Hosting and SSL are free, with no monthly fees unless you choose Nicell Care at €30 a month.

Do I need a website if I get all my work by word of mouth?

Even word-of-mouth customers usually look you up before they ring. A simple one-page site with your services, photos, reviews and phone number makes you look established and makes it easy for them to call.

Can customers send me photos of the job?

Yes. A WhatsApp button lets customers send photos straight to your phone, and a quote request form can include a photo upload that arrives by email.

I work from home. Do I have to show my address?

No. Your website and Google Business Profile can show the towns and areas you cover instead of a street address.

Will the website help me show up on Google?

Every build includes on-page SEO, local business structured data and linking your Google Business Profile. A Full Site with one page per service gives you the best chance of ranking for each job you do.

How quickly can I get a preview?

You get a free working preview within 48 hours of sending your business details, services and a few photos of your work. You only pay if you want it to go live.
