Toastie Cafe is a busy café and sandwich bar on Main Street in Midleton. It had the food, the regulars and a steady Instagram, but the menu lived in photos of the board, opening hours were buried in old posts, and anyone wanting a platter or a cake for the weekend had to message and hope.
The site has five pages — Home, Menu, Grab & Go, Cakes & Orders and Visit Us. The full menu with prices is real text Google can read, split into toasties, pizza subs, hot food, coffee and treats. A live open-now badge answers “are you open?” before anyone asks, an order-request form turns cake and platter orders into a written request instead of a DM, and call, directions and menu buttons sit at the bottom of every phone screen. It was built in Toastie’s own warm, hand-made look, with café structured data and the site submitted to Google Search Console.

- The city runs on footfall and lunch trade. Cafés, barbers and shops in the city centre win on the phone in someone’s hand: opening hours, a menu or price list as real text, and a map link that works.
- East Cork — Midleton, Cobh, Youghal — mixes locals and visitors. A site that speaks to both, with clear hours and a way to order or book ahead, beats a social profile every time.
- West Cork and Kinsale live on the season. Accommodation, food and activity businesses need a site that can switch hours and offers quickly and take enquiries from people who have never been there.
